Acadia Mindfulness Walk with Jen Harry

Slow down, unplug, relax and connect to yourself and to nature in a new way by exploring and fully experiencing the beauty of Acadia National Park on this guided mindfulness walk. First meet with your Instructor, Jen Harry, at Schoodic Institute in Winter Harbor to review your itinerary and then head out into the Schoodic Section of Acadia National Park where you will be gently guided through a variety of mindfulness practices including but not limited to Mindful Walking, Mindfulness of the Senses, Mindfulness of Breath & Mindful Eating. Finish up with some ideas on how you can take these practices (and the relaxation they bring!) home with you and easily integrate them into your everyday life.
Jen Harry is a Mindfulness & Meditation Coach who teaches tools & practices that fit into everyday life to help people slow down and navigate stress, overwhelm, & anxiety in today’s fast paced world. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University, has over 15 years experience working in the mental health field and holds certifications in the Methods of Japanese Psychology; Applied Positive Psychology; and as a Resiliency Trainer. Most recently, Jen has combined her love of nature and her passion for teaching mindfulness practice in real life to create Acadia Mindfulness Adventures, guided mindfulness nature excursions on Mount Desert Island, in Acadia National Park and in the surrounding areas.
This event will be held on two dates, May 28 and June 18, both at 1 PM. The group will meet at Schooner Commons. Please park at the North Lot, immediately prior to Schooner Commons, on the right. Registration is required. Cost is $40.00 per adult and $20.00 per child 12 and under.
