Acadia Winter Festival: iNaturalist Workshop for the Whole Family

Part of Schoodic Institute’s 2022 Acadia Winter Festival
Learn about citizen science using iNaturalist, a free app that helps people record instances of wildlife! iNaturalist is an exciting tool that you can use to identify species and become a citizen scientist! We will start learning the app in the classroom but we suggest downloading it before you arrive. Then we get outside to explore the Schoodic Institute campus and use iNaturalist to record our own observations. To cap it off we will briefly meet at Schooner Commons for a hot beverage and to discuss the observations we accumulated. Bring your smartphone and dress warmly!
Event cost is $5.00 per participant.
