Join expert Mindfulness Coach Jen Harry at noon on June 18 for a fun and engaging talk on Mindfulness Practice in Nature. Spending time in the great outdoors is the perfect opportunity to learn about and to practice mindfulness (or to deepen a practice you already have) and can help you feel more calm, relaxed, and focused in everyday life. In this talk, Jen will give a brief overview of Mindfulness, share the latest research on the mental and physical benefits of practicing mindfulness in nature and give you the opportunity to try it for yourself by leading you in a short practice.
As always, Brown Bag Lunch talks are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided but please feel free to bring your own lunch. The talk will be given in the Breakout Rooms at Moore Auditorium.
