Family Science Night and Community Birthday Party at MDI Bio Lab

Family Science Night at the MDI Biological Laboratory is an annual summer tradition where scientists, students, and members of the community come together to encourage learners of all ages to engage with science.
Join together at the MDI Bio Lab to celebrate more than a century of collaboration, experimentation and basic scientific research. In addition to more than a dozen activities and exhibits organized by MDI Biological Laboratory student fellows, several community partners will also be hosted. Bring your friends and family and have fun with a variety of hands-on science activities!
Community partners include Landscape of Change, Maine Science Festival, Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park, Maine Discovery Museum, and MDI Biological Laboratory.
This event will take place on July 12, 2023, from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at the MDI Bio Lab (on the lower campus). Please note that there will be photography and video recordings of this event for publicity purposes.
