History of the United States Navy at Schoodic Point (1935-2002)

On Friday, August 12th at 4:00pm, join Naval Security Group Activity (NSGA) Winter Harbor in commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Navy base closure with an afternoon lecture.

 

During the talk, James Guest (CDR, USN, retired, Former Commanding Officer – Naval Security Activity Winter Harbor) will present an overview of the United States Navy’s presence on the Schoodic Peninsula and various operational aspects the base provided to national defense during World War II and the Cold War.

 

This lecture is free and open to the public.
