Fully experience the beauty of Acadia National Park in wintertime on this guided mindfulness walk. Instructor Jen Harry will give a brief talk about mindfulness and then guide the group through a variety of mindfulness practices including Mindful Walking, Mindfulness of the Senses, Mindfulness of Breath, and Mindful Eating. These practices create the opportunity to slow down, unplug, relax and connect to yourself and to nature in a new way. Participants will learn how to take these practices (and the relaxation they bring!) home and easily integrate them into everyday life. Dress warmly, hats, gloves and layers are always a good idea and wear waterproof boots if there is snow. Bring a small snack for the Mindful Eating portion.
Part of the Acadia Winter Festival. This event is free but space is limited and registration is required.
