Seth Benz\, Bird Ecology Director at Schoodic Institute\, will be leading a winter bird outing on March 16\, 2023 from 10am – 12:00pm on Mount Desert Island for Acadia Senior College members. Explore the area and learn about the winter birds on Mount Desert Island. Watch for common eiders\, black-capped chickadees\, buffleheads\, eagles\, downy woodpeckers\, harlequin ducks\, and more while learning about their habitats\, migration patterns\, and bird phenology. \nThe cost for this outing is $12 per person.
