SUMMARY:Schoodic Institute Bird Monitor Volunteer Training II
DESCRIPTION:Do you have an interest in the birds of Acadia National Park? Do you want to take your interest to the next level? Join us on Tuesday\, June 11 at the Frazer Point Picnic Area (in Winter Harbor) from 7:00am – 9:30am for a bird monitoring training session! This will be a great opportunity to join our team of bird monitors. Bring a sense of curiosity and binoculars (if you have them). We’ll cover the history of bird observation in Acadia and our current monitoring methods\, including the use of Merlin (a bird identification app)\, as well as trails and hotspots to be monitored.
