This fall, the 27th year of Hawk Watch on Cadillac Mountain, eight volunteers counted a total of 2,349 hawks over 47 days.
The observation rate of 10-11 hawks per hour was slightly below average. However, we had several records including 204 Bald Eagles (previous high 150 in 2019) and 274 Turkey Vultures (previous high 193 in 2019).
