Nathan Dubrow of Ipswich, Massachusetts is the Schoodic Point Sea Watch counter for the 2023 fall migration season. Graduating from College of the Atlantic in 2021, Dubrow has focused his studies and early career work on sea birds both locally and in the North Pacific, spending multiple summers on Mount Desert Rock off Acadia’s coast, as well as time in the western Aleutians of Alaska.

“I have become a critical observer of all the expected, and unexpected, migrating sea birds to our area,” said Dubrow. “I look forward to spotting and counting each and every bird that passes by.”SeaWatch at Schoodic Point 2023 count totals for October 17 and 18.
