Molly Donlan

Molly works with the wildlife program at Acadia National Park (ANP) to collect long-term monitoring data, assist in developing protocols for new research, manage the data retrieved from these projects, and coordinate field tasks. Acadia’s wildlife program focuses on taxa including Myotis bats, peregrine falcons, songbirds, freshwater and marine fishes, vernal pool breeding amphibians, and pollinating insects, and Molly is thrilled to be involved in projects for all of these! A majority of her time is spent researching the threatened and endangered bat species of Acadia and how their populations are changing due to White Nose Syndrome.

Molly worked for both the National Park Service and Schoodic Institute seasonally since 2019 before entering this current position. She graduated from College of the Atlantic with a bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology. Outside of work, Molly enjoys cross-country skiing, gardening, cooking, and cozying up with a book and her cats.
