Schoodic Forest Meet & Greet

Join us on Wednesday, March 1st from 6:00pm – 7:30pm at Hammond Hall (427 Main Street in Winter Harbor) to learn about the new Schoodic Forest Preserve and join in the discussion of management opportunities!

Maine Coast Heritage Trust and Schoodic Institute are partnering to manage a new preserve on Curtis Road called Schoodic Forest. It will have public access and support ongoing ecological research. As we develop the management plan to guide our actions moving forward, we would like your input! Come meet our staff and discuss how you can use this property or what you’d like to see here.

During this in-person meet and greet, there will be a brief presentation about the property and the two organizations involved, followed by an open discussion about topics like trail development, allowable uses, parking, and other important points that you might like to bring up.
