Calling Acadia Senior College members! Seth Benz, Bird Ecology Director at Schoodic Institute, will be leading a winter bird outing on March 16, 2023 from 10am – 12:00pm on Mount Desert Island for Acadia Senior College members. Explore the area and learn about the winter birds on Mount Desert Island. Watch for common eiders, black-capped chickadees, buffleheads, eagles, downy woodpeckers, harlequin ducks, and more while learning about their habitats, migration patterns, and bird phenology.
