Cathy and Jim Gero Acadia Early-Career Fellowships: Through the generous support of Cathy and Jim Gero, the National Park Service, Schoodic Institute, and the National Park Foundation, three fellows will work alongside National Park Service and Schoodic Institute scientists, educators, communicators, and resource managers in Acadia National Park and surrounding areas, including a Science Research Fellow, Science Communication Fellow, and an Environmental Science Education Fellow (see position descriptions below). Request for Proposals (RFP) Project Management Consultant – Indigenous Peoples and the Revolutionary War Project: Schoodic Institute is seeking a qualified contractor to lead project management components for the “Indigenous Peoples and the Revolutionary War” project. This initiative, funded through a federal grant, aims to advance the National Park Service’s understanding of Indigenous peoples’ involvement in the Revolutionary War and the conflict’s significance for tribal nations.
