Two weeks ago, we lost a friend.
Robert Hill was a clam fisherman and an active participant in the Gouldsboro and broader regional clam harvesting community and our related education program. He died when his canoe capsized while fishing. (Read the story and his obituary).
Education staff Bill Zoellick and Sarah Hooper and the Gouldsboro Shellfish Committee have set up a memorial fund to support Robert’s family.
