After completing a summer field season with Schoodic Institute as a Restoration Technician, Amina stepped into the role of Restoration Research Assistant. In this role, Amina supports Schoodic Institute’s climate adaptation and restoration research and leads the restoration field team.
Originally from Nevada, Amina calls the west home. She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in Evolution, Ecology, and Biodiversity. Transferring her knowledge to new ecosystems has been a fun challenge, and she has fallen in love with Acadia’s temperate deciduous and northern coniferous forests.
When not at work, Amina spends her time baking, reading, hiking, and swimming.
