Caroline (she/her) is an educator with the Schoodic Education Adventure (SEA) program, which brings local middle school students to the park for a 3-day, 2-night outdoor learning experience. She loves exploring and learning, especially about the ocean, and she is excited to share her enthusiasm and curiosity with students.
Caroline holds Maine teaching certifications for 5-8 Science and 7-12 Life Science, and spent several years teaching middle school math and science in Lincolnville and Brunswick, Maine prior to working with the SEA program. She spent numerous summers teaching at a marine science summer program (tidepools are her favorite!) and has worked extensively with students on Maine’s islands, traveling by ferry to meet with students on the water and at schools.
When she’s not teaching, you’re most likely to find Caroline outside, probably either in the water or on the trails – she loves hiking, trail running, distance swimming, and cold dipping!
