As Director of Bird Ecology at Schoodic Institute, Seth coordinates citizen scientists’ efforts to monitor bird migrations, seasonal bird concentrations, bird vocalizations, and biodiversity and phenology observations in the Acadia region. Seth’s work also focuses on bird education projects, including field trips, residential tours, workshops, and classroom teaching.
Prior to coming to Schoodic, his positions included Assistant to the Curator at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Director of Hog Island Audubon Camp, and Educational Director at the Audubon Expedition Institute.
Seth is currently on the Board of Directors of Frontiers in Ornithology. He and wife Sue reside in Belfast, Maine.
