Since 2015, Tyler Piebes has been the Bookkeeper at Schoodic Institute. He works to maintain the integrity of the Institute’s financial records and systems.
Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Tyler is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he studied Music Business as well as classical and jazz trumpet. Upon graduating, Tyler found a love for non-profit organizations, and over the years he has worked with a variety of organizations ranging from art foundations, wildlife rehabilitation, and at-risk youth housing.
Tyler is a glassblowing artist whose work focuses on drink ware, as well as wildlife and nautical themes inspired by the beauty of Downeast Maine. Some of his other hobbies include running, camping, fishing, and hunting.
